At Drs. Kapperman, White & McGarvey,  our goal is to be the best eye care provider that we can possibly be for you, our valued patient. In early 2021, we made the difficult decision to stop accepting VSP (Vision Service Plan.) At our office, we provide our patients with a very comprehensive and thorough exam using instrumentation, and we gain information that you just do not get in most standard eye exams. Due to this, our exam is different from what VSP usually reimburses for. However, we believe it is important for us to provide our patients with the greatest care possible. 

Patients with VSP are more than welcome to continue coming to our office and seeing our doctors. We are working to keep the cost of our services affordable while not skimping on the technology we use to ensure you are seeing your best. 

Many of our patients can see us using their medical insurance. There is a substantial difference between vision care plans and medical plans. Most vision plans are primarily only used to provide patients with an eye exam to determine their eyewear prescription. At our office, we specialize in medical optometry where we focus on eye health and eye health problems. If any of our patients with VSP have medical-based problems, which could be a cataract, diabetes, or ocular side effects from a medication, we can typically file your care with your medical insurance provider.
